Hello All,

Years ago I could not believe there was not apps for the iphone and located "www.modmyiphone.com" to learn how to unlock and mod my iphone to my desirer.

i got spooked when i heard they could turn in to a ibrick and was happy with the phone at the time and never upgrade or installed anything else since. the "installer" app use to install more apps crashes and i have never restored and reinstalled anything.

I currently run the original 8g iphone,on 1.0.2. jailbroken and unlocked in 2007.

Now I plan to purchase a new iphone from ATT, and use the original Iphone for Tmobile.
I have been searching the new (this) site and it is loaded with information and i thought to just reach out and ask:

-> Can anyone please refer me to a guide or thread, to take the original iphone that is running 1.0.2, unlocked, and connect it to t-mobil, and possibly install updates to be able to "copy paste" and other new apple releases.

also, is there a reason to unlock the new phone running on att's network, with so many apps available, any thoughts?

Here is a link to all the info you need to jailbreak and unlock your 2G phone.
On your new phone unlock is unnecessary if your using it on AT&T but of coarse you could still jailbreak it.

the 2G phone is already been thru Jail break and i think unlocked. whatever was avaible in 2007. do i do it again?

Any info on connecting to Tmoble on this phone.

is it still unable to upgrade firmware on itunes because it turns into an ibrick?
