Will pay to unlock iPhone 3.1.2 sites actually work?
I've seen several sites that advertise that if you pay them, they can send you software to unlock the phone even if you're using version 3.1.2.
What do you guys think? I'm skeptical.

Scam, why would you pay when it is for free and or will be for free?

Its spam, they just send you a software that is free that you can unlock for self, and they will just be spamming don't do it, also you be wasting your money. just look around forums on here and jailbreak yourself, its simpler now with the new way to jailbreak.

Yes, I realized that if you have the right baseband you can unlock for free. However if you have upgraded too far, you cannot unlock currently. This website is advertising an unlock for any phone for $25.

I guarantee they can not do it. If it was possible it would have been released.
But, having said that, go for it and let us know.

i wouldn't trust it still because they may just say that, just to get your money look around at sites you trust and see if they say anything about that

That's a scam. If it were real, someone would have paid for it and released it to everyone else for free.
