Jailbroken/unlocked iphone 2g 3.0 restricted problem

ok so i used redsnow to jailbreak my iphone 2g 3.0 firmware

i tried many times before this with quickpwn etc.. and it denied my vodafone sim card
i then used redsnow and it worked, all comes on fine and operates fine, other than makin calls etc..

when i choose my carrier, or any of the others, it says its restricted. ive tried restoring and jailbreaking again and it still says its restricted.

any body know how to fix this? it would be much appreciated, thank you
