Unlocked 3G - Mac OS 8.2 Beta Expiring in a few hours.

I have an unlocked 3g and i have been using 8.2. Last night I got a message saying that it was going to expire and to update to 9.0.1.
Can I do this? or will it break my unlock?
I would prefer to download an old version of itunes that is not a bet, if someone has a link to that.

U are safe to update to 9.0.1 it will not do anything to ur iphone but be careful with the iphone updates thats the only thing that can break ur unlock
