Activating EDGE on o2 paygo OOB 1.12 >1.14
Hi,
I just restored and fully unlocked my OOB 1.12 iphone which is now at 1.14.
Everything works great except for the EDGE/GPRS on my o2 paygo sim (i pay £7.50 for the data). This worked previously when the phone was on 1.12 with some modded files but i can not now find those files which solved the problem.
How can i get this working on my updated 1.14 iphone?
Thanks.

Can someone please explain how this works?.
I thought the £7.50 bolt on for o2 was only for GPRS and Edge wouldn't walk?

I am sure EDGE works as i get the "E" blue symbol when in an EDGE area and it loads internet pages up quicker when in an EDGE area.

So it does work with PAYG o2 phones?, so if I pay the £7.50 add the hacked files to my Iphone then it work?.
I notice adding the hack files there's an EDGE option under Network which was never there.
Success somewhat!
I can open http://www.02.co.uk
However, whenever I click on any of the site to another link I get the essafe Safari can't opne the page because the network connection was lost.
Anyone please?????????Last edited by rirawin; 03-17-2008 at 11:30 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
