Can anybody help me upgrading and unblocking my iPhone. Actually my firmware is 1.1.1

Update iTunes to at least 8.2 use redsn0w 0.8 along with the 2 bootloader files 3.9 and 4.6 for the unlock, you will also need 3.0 restore .ipsw here. both from the same link. One you have downloaded redsn0w extract the files and open redsn0w it will walk you through it step by step.
