do i still need a turbo sim for tmobile with 3g

i just jb and unlocked my iphone 3g 3.0.1 with redsnow and ultra snow every thing works but the data i have 3g turnd of and can make and recive phone call im just not sure if i need one of those sim card things u put in with ur tmo sim plz help

Those things are horribly buggy and unreliable.

becouse couse my data plan isnt working

Go put in your APN settings at Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network.

ihave internet3.voicestream.com on the apn still nuthin

so i dont need the sim card thing. so its just probly not set up rite ?

Are you in the US?
Have you tried the other APNs?

If you go to the "Guides" section on the header bar on any page, look under Popular, APN Carrier settings. Everything will be there.

If your on T-Mobile and have wifi you can go to Cydia and search for T Mobile or APN , you will find what you need there.

no apn editor dident work
i think i was supposed to put internet2.voicesteam.com but i put internet3.voicestream.com now i see the edge network but it says im not subscibed to any data ??

the APN you need depends on what data plan you have. you can try
epc.tmobile.com
wap.voicestream.com
