Cannot find a repository for ultrasn0w

im trying to unlock my iphone 3G. I just updated to 3.0 firmware using redsn0w

I tried the repo666.ultrasn0w.com/ and it would not add

cant find it in cydia so i know i dont have it available to me.

any other alternate repositories or way that i can unlock my phone?

site is down right now, I'm sure it will be back up soon.
also make sure you add http:// in front of it.

I did have the http:// that just defaults when you go to add.

Same here. Im thinking by tomorrow morning itll be fine. Ive been putting off updating my phone for a little bit and i picked a pretty crappy time to do it.

I buy and sell iPhones and I just had a customer walk in to buy one from me but when I was trying to unlock the phone, Blaaaaaam! Ultrasn0w site is down! I told her to come back and Ill have her phone ready for tomorrow. (sigh) huuuuuuuyyyyyyyy.......

tried it as soon as i got up i refreshed Cydia and the yellowsn0w repo refreshed fine, so i tried adding the ultrasn0w one and it worked great. phone is back in action

thanks again for the quick reply to my initial post- i would have lost my mind last night

I got everything working but i had a couple other questions now:

1. Ive jailbroken with redsn0w/unlocked with ultrasn0w but i do not see MMS or video recording? ( I have tmobile. i used to use swirly mms but that doesnt seem to be compatible with 3.0)

2. Is there an easy way to upgrade to 3.0.1, or is there even a need for me to? I cannt do it thru itunes anymore as many of the guides have shown bc the new firmware it updates to is 3.1

I just downloaded ultrasn0w, during the download process I got this:

"http://www.ispaziorepo.com

Sub-process bzip2 returned an error code (2)"

I clicked out of the message, but it said the ultrasn0w download was complete, and it seemed install fine and reboot. Is this normal, or is there anything that I should worry about?

I did not have that issue, but the first time i tried to install the package cydia crashed and just went to the home screen, I did not notice a message myself. My install went fine the 2nd try.

If everything works fine, seems like you are good to go

How can you tell if ultrasn0w is still down? I'm trying to add the repo to my newly jailbroken 3.0fw and it keeps coming back that it can't find the repo. I tried just typing it into my internet browser on my laptop and it finds a webpage, but i don't know what the webpage usually looks like hahah So I don't know if it's 'up' or not

Nevermind, I got it... apparently it was only momentarily down? Oh well, all is good, and i'm not unlocked! WOOOOOOT

Thanks Ang, what a night this has been.... I think I'll work on getting everything backed up and re-installed tmrw! This has been the hardest of my 3 updates/jailbreaks & unlocks I've gone through, jeepers! Thanks for your guidance and fast responses!
