    Default unlocking iphone 2g with tmobile

    I just dropped my ATT service and went to tmobile however I am having iphone withdrawals. Can I unlock my iphone 2g without ATT service? I still have the old sim card in. What is the best way to unlock the phone?

    Yes, you can. I recommend the site below, very good step by step instructions on how to unlock your iPhone using a Mac (with pictures ).

    Hack That Phone

    Look in Firmware tutorials, then hover over menu near top, for getting started.

    Make sure to stay clear of FW 3.0.1 (and 3.1 later this month)
