I miss my iphone 2G....my new 3G has no signal bars/or carrier in settings after 3.0

Booo!

I loved my Iphone 2G....it charged in all my devices...and it worked when I unlocked it for every version of the os from 1.0.2

Anyway...enough crying....

I just tried to upgrade to 3.0 on my new 3G...and it was unlocked in 2.2. But now...I dont get any service bars...or carrier section in my settings. When I pop over my sim to my old 2G (w/broken screen) ...it works fine (aside from the broken screen).


So I know its not a sim error.

Anythoughts? Ideas? on how to get this to work?

tried PWN with custom ipsw ...then restored with original...and tried redsnow from my pc....nuthin...same results

lol, i hate when upgrading a phone becomes a PITA to the point you want to just go back to your old phone.

Congrats on the 3g, you'll love it more than the 2g for sure.
