1st gen 1.1.4 (unlocked) ... how to update to 3.0 and unlock
Hi there. I've found my old 1st gen (8GB) iphone (I have a 3g also which I use as my main phone).
It has firmware 1.1.4 and it is jailbroken and unlocked (I can't remember but I think I used ziphone, it was almost an year and a half ago).
My question is which are the correct (or the better and painless) steps to get it updated to 3.0, jailbroken and unlocked?.
THANKS!!!

Here is a link to what you need. Restore to 3.0 and then use redsn0w to J/B

you can use either redsnow or pwnage. I'd use redsnow as its more user friendly.
do a little research on iClarified - Apple News and Tutorials
there are plenty of really good articles, to walk you step by step on the unlock process. Good luck. The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!
