unlock (silly question)

So I have succeeded with JailBreak process - no problem

For UNLOCK: I used the ultrasn0w 0.8 (windows .bat version) - for those without wi-fi.

I hooked up everything normally, and ran the Unlock3G,S_3.0.bat file. ZAP! Done (apparently?)

I expected some prompts or something slower - but this took about 2 seconds.

The phone appears the same as prior to the unlock.

How can I tell if the unlock actually occurred?

Sim card was virgin as of yesterday (came out of a Razr that was just activated)

Phone works fine - so I'm guessing the SIM is OK...

EDIT: Also - here is what does NOT work - Stocks, Maps, Weather, App Store.

I've read in various places, that in some cases, right after doing the unlocking, you need to go to settings->general->reset->"reset network settings" which should get everything working right.

Just go find a place with a free wifi hotspot and download ultrasnow from Cydia....
