    Default iphone 2g Activation Help

    ok i upgraded my iphone 2g to 3.0.1 and then set it up as a new fone and the it stayed in the activation screen and when i connect it to my itunes it tryes to make me add a data plan for which oi already have for my iphone 3g so what do i do because i cannot afford a higher bill on my phone because i am a college student

    Try letting redsn0w hacktivate.
    I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

    ^ did this "not being able to turn off" just happen as you were jailbreaking or was this a problem before. Is it the power button that is bad? If so, not much chance you will solve your problem without it.
    I could however supply you with several members here that do repairs very reasonably and are very respected here in the forum. Sorry
