using old att sim card

I have jailbroken and unlocked my iphone 2g. But I am getting no signal error and the phone is not working using my non iphone att sim card. Any suggestions on how to get the phone to work?

Um...don't know what the problem is, but it probably will become another issue if you get it to work. AT&T will find out eventually and you'll probably be forced to get an iPhone plan, simply because you have an AT&T sim.
