Redsn0w/Ultrasno0w VS Purplera1n/Purplesn0w
I saw the poll thread and saw that more people were picking ultrasn0w but as I read thread itself I saw that all the problems were mostly with ultrasn0w. So now I'm confused. Im getting my 32gb iphone 3gs tomorrow and I have t-mobile so I needa no which is the best way to go.
Pros Cons?

it seems the dev team has concluded that geohot's method has some flaws in it that they would not have included in their jailbreak/unlock. I'm not sure how accurate that statement is. Although, the dev-team's final release for the jailbreak/unlock for 3gs has incorporated some of geohot's ideas into it.
It's up to you to decide. There have been good and bad experiences amongst those who use either. You can go to this forum and find more negatives on redsn0w/ultrasn0w, then you can go to another forum and find the opposite. If it were up to me, I'd go with redsn0w/ultrasn0w just because I trust and rely on the dev-team's work. I've never had a problem with ultrasn0w or any of their jailbreak tools. But that's just me.

I still havent used Redsn0w on any of my 3Gs's...But if you update to 3.0.1 you dont have a choice...redsn0w it is

redsnow dont work on 3.1 i have tried both 7.2 and 8.0 is dont recognize the firmware.

it's not even out yet!
