Is version 3.0.1 the version for redsnow

when I went to update and restore my 2G phone Itunes said the version is 3.0.1.. the redsnow tutorial only mentions 3.0.. Any problem with using this new update?

Using 3.0 firmware on redsn0w will also work to jailbreak version 3.0.1. Use redsn0w as usual and select the 3.0 firmware rather than 3.0.1 and it should be fine.
