could not activate cellular data network: you are not subscribed to a cellular data
Hi,
I have jail broken and unlocked iphone 3g s using redsnow/Ultrasnow I even tried the geohot purpeln1 stuff but in end all works fine except I get below
"could not activate cellular data network: you are not subscribed to a cellular data service" when ever I try to connect outside wifi coverage.
I brought the iphone 3g s from US to Pakistan and there is no 3G and we get GPRS and have Edge coverage at some places. I have already turned off the 3g in iphone. What all I get is a small round some thing like o instead of a G or E on top. Please help as I have almost tried all what I could find from Internet (Google/Yahoo)
Thanks

Well.. do you have a data plan?
If so then you need to go input your APN settings.
Settings> General> Network > Cellular Data Network
and google for your settings for your specific carrier
I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

The "O" is GPRS
As posted above you'll have to find you APN settings for your carrier.
