iphone 2g OS 3.0 gets overheated !!!
I am sorry if i posted this thread in the wrong section but i ddnt know where to post it exactly..
i recently updated my 2G to version 3.0..everything else is fine except my fone remains over heated all the time and also the charging takes like hours (definitely more than normal)..
Can someone help me please...should i downgrade or something ??

Settings>Notifications>off
Then reboot the phone, see if that helps.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

Did you restore or upgrade to 3.0?
If you upgraded, then restore and set up as a new phone.
You'll lose some data though, but not much.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

Definitely would recommend restoring it. Maybe the heat is getting to it? Its been hitting over 100 degrees here and I can definitely tell its affecting my device.

Push Notification being ON makes the iphone overheat. Always turn off after a fresh unlock. Its always looking to pull new emails from the server and its better to do that manually.
