Should I upgrade to 3.0 from 2.1 on my 2G

I have come to the conclusion that I cannot afford to purchase a 3GS phone at this time. So now, what are your thoughts as to upgrading to 3.0 from 2.1? Is there a great advantage and differece in doing so? I am really not to computer savvy so attempting this is a real challenge to me, so need opinions on the worthyness of doing so..LOL All thoughts and opinions appreciated..I used pwnage the last time..

I think that updating to 3.0 is worth it. Many new features, improvements and coolness. More and more iPhone apps are requiring 3.0 to run. I also used PwnageTool. I say "Go for it!"

3.0 has a lot of new features that weren't present in 2.XX but it also comes with a couple bugs (most of these come from restoring from backup though).
I would say go for it but make sure you click "restore" in itunes instead of "update" or "upgrade" (i'm not sure what it says) and set up as a new phone.

Thanks for the replies. One more question. Do I delete the pwnage that is on my desktop and need to download a different one?

If the pwnage was for an older firmware then yes
