    Default Unlocked 2G iphone on AT&T??

    I have successfully unlocked my 2G iphone with 3.0. What would happen if I put in an AT&T sim card? I have one AT&T activated iphone but wondered if they would know the difference if I put a sim into an unlocked iphone for my other line. Thanks!

    Default Att sim

    I put an AT&T sim into my unlocked iphone for only a few minutes and used it to make a call, and it didn't do anything to change the status of the unlock. I didn't leave it in very long so maybe that may be why the status didn't change. Who knows what will happen if you left it in longer.

    Yes they would know because of the IMEI number associated with the iPhone.
