locked iphone after restore and ultrasn0w
I recently upgraded my iphone to the 3.0 firmware and after having a lot of trouble with the jailbreak of the 3.0 firmware, I decided to downgrade my iphone to 2.2.1
So yesterday I downgraded to 2.2.1 and as soon as I did that, I made a custom 2.2.1 firmware using pwnage tool and restored my phone using that custom 2.2.1 firmware, which obviously jailbroke it. When that was done, my iphone was locked! It wouldn't recognize my sim card! I tried downloading ultrasn0w because I knew that would fix the problem (since I have the the right baseband), but the cydia page gave me an error and said I'm not able to install ultrasn0w!!!
Can anyone help me??? Any ideas/methods/tools???
Thanks
Nevermind I used quickpwn 2.2.5-2 for windows and it did the trick.
However, I thought ultrasn0w works on 2.2.1 firmware if you have the correct baseband?? I have the 3.0 baseband and it still won't let me install ultrasn0w.
any ideas??Last edited by imazenation; 07-16-2009 at 06:28 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
