    Default Questions about Unlocking Process

I heard that to remove AT&T as the carrier after performing an jailbreak and unlock you need to first put the iphone into DFU mode.

Then Jail break ->Unlock and its done right

AFter I put my iphone in DFU mode and jailbreaked it should all of my apps still appear or did i do it wrong?

Should I have use itunes to restore it to factory settings first?

Can anyone describe the process in detail. Thank You

You should restore to a fresh copy of 3.0 in iTunes and then jailbreak. All original apps will be there.

If i activate a potientially blocked IMEI with a T-Mobile prepaid sim. Is it a possibility that I could get caught?

From reading what others have had to say about this, my answer would be no.
