I got it to go to DFU mode, but iTunes just gives me error 1601 after i wait for some time. please help.

i had a similar problem... what i had to do it update my itunes to the latest version then try it and it worked.... and at a point i had to do it agin... so i tried to install it but i got that error... so i uninstalled my itunes and reinstalled it again...

try that and see if it works
