Default iPhone 3GS - jailbroken but not activated

Ok, I will make it short.

I´ve got my iPhone 3GS but my original sim card is home (holidays).
Now the iPhone is jailbroken, BUT not activated (had to reset it).

Is there any possibility to activate the iPhone so I can work with it?

    Thank you very much!

Well, I´ve got the original SIM card but I´m on vacation at the moment and don´t have the card with me...

So, isn´t there any possibility to activate the phone?

    Hmm, not good.
Seems like vacations without mobile phone...

Is the Dev Team going to work around this for T-Mobile users? I haven't read much about this.

Here's a guide that will hacktivate your phone.
I just found it myself. Make sure you used purplera1n and jailbroke your iPhone 3GS. If you see the Emergency calls screen, you may follow the next few steps.

    1. Download the activation file lockdownd - RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

download this file & save it somewhere, where you can find it

    2. Download iphonebrowser - iphonebrowser - Google Code

    3. Connect your jailbroken iphone 3GS to your pc

    4. Open iphonebrowser and navigate to /usr/libexec

    5. Drag and drop the lockdownd file you downloaded at step 1 into libexec folder. (We are just replacing the lockdownd file required for hacktivation!)I suggest you keep a copy of your original lockdown file somewhere in your PC.

    6. Reboot your iPhone and wait for your iPhone to hacktivate!

Now just install "Freeze" to install cydia.

    Hope this helps...

How long did you wait before deciding you had a freeze? The original post said it can take a while to boot after this...
