Unlock iPhone in Australia
I have followed your instructions but my iPhone folder does not contain "Firmware" as an application, but as a folder. Selecting it from iNdependence produces "Error. Specified path does not contain firmware files. Try again". Here is the snapshot of my folder. OSX 10.4.10, Safari 2.0.2 (419.3). Can anybody help please.
I am in Sydney, Australia and just want to activate the iPhone and "hopefully" also use it as a phone at the end of it all!
Many thanks guys.

Moved to Modding in OS X.
As detailed in the guide, you need to select the folder CONTAINING the firmware folder, not the firmware folder itself..

Cannot get IP number for iPhone
I got the iPhone unlocked (Australia) so now I can use everything :-) except the phone :-(
I get stuck when I am asked to locate the IP number for the iPhone. Since I am on my home wireless network the iPhone displays IP number given to it by the router e.g. 10.1.1.12 and not the IP number for iPhone. How do I find IP number for iPhone?
Getting there... Many thanks.

Thanks mate... will try it later tonight when I come home. You have no idea how people react when they see iPhone - they love it. Now, can't wait till I make my first phone call on iPhone.
