cydia crashing repeatdly

hi,
i have iphone 2g, i recently updated it to latest version 3.0, i jailbreak and unlocked by using redSnow, everything looks fine except cydia, it is crashing again and again, few times it goes off by itself and take me back to main screen, i am not able to upgrade cydia and even not able to download Winterboard and other applications, themes etc.., i am getting follwoing errors:

1. Couldnt configure pre-depend dpkg for grep, probably a dependency cycle.

2. i cant get install option when i try to download any application, at the place where install should b available, there is always a reload option available.

can anyone help me get rid of this error, or can i remove and reinstall cydia, plz anwer in detail

Redo redsn0w using ver. 7.1, newer redsn0w gives you option to install icy and I think if you install icy and cydia, it will break cydia, redo redsn0w and only install cydia, icy should stay on from the previous redsn0w.

Like they guy said above just selct cydia. I had this same problem, rejailbroke and everything worked fine after that.
