Unlocking Question

If I unlocked my iphone, is there a way i can remove the unlock and if not can i update the iphone firmware when its unlocked?

Unlock just allows phone to be used with carrier other than AT&T, maybe I don't understand what your asking.
It will not stop you from updating, although an update in iTunes would remove the jailbreak and unlock.

I heard somewhere that if your phone is unlocked and you restore it will still stay on and when you go to updating it, the unlock will mess it up.
Is that true or false?

You can always revert back to the same firmware locked, by just restoring in itunes.
