Ultrasn0w: No SIM card installed

Alright. I've been trying ultrasn0w for about 2 hours now. After following the directions to a T (turn off 3g before install, insert sim before reboot, reboot, etc), it still comes up with "No SIM card installed". I also tried a restore and fresh redsn0w. No dice. Any suggestions?

I'm a t-mobile customer and I am baffled by this.

Also, I was curious as to whether or not we had to activate before unlocking? I have no idea how to activate w/o a at&t sim.

Did you have your tmobile sim in your phone while restoring and jailbraking? Try that.

To use Push Notification you need to find an att sim card.

I actually did, but thank you for your response!

I had a sim card that was 9 years old! I called T-mobile and they replaced it for me. Needless to say, my phone is now in working order!

Alright....storytime.

I have this Iphone that I jailbroke and unlocked and bought a Gevey turbo sim to bypass whatever it does.....
Well, I thought it would be cool to update to the new 3.0 software but it has been such a hassle!
Everything is working but my phone will continually say "NO SERVICE" and "NO SIM IS INSTALLED". I have tried everything I can think of.
I did have the Sim and Gevey card in when I was updating it and when it was jailbreaking if that matters....
Do I need to purchase another Gevey Turbo card? IS this one out? /lol
So yeah, that's my tragic story and HOPEFULLY...just HOPEFULLY someone will follow up on my questions. THANKYOU in ADVANCE. Really.
