    Default Need some clarification first before 3.0 upgrade and unlock

    So I have an unlocked 3g iphone with 2.1 firmware. Do I just plug into itunes and upgrade to 3.0 firmware, than jailbreak with redsn0w? Will it break my phone if I just upgrade to 3.0 from itunes? Just want to make sure there's not some other way.
