OS 3.0 activation

here is my situation....

I have a 3G on 2.2.1 with 5.09BB jailbroken and unlocked using a Gevey plus 2 turbo sim.

I now want to install 3.0 and jailbreak(with redsn0w or pwnage) and unlock with ultrasn0w

so....if I restore in itunes with my orange UK sim card, itunes will flag up that sim is not supported and will not activate

but I also know that I have to have the orange sim inside to jailbreak....do i:-

1.restore in itunes with an official sim card and then swap to orange before jailbreak?
OR
2.ignore what itunes says and restore with orange sim installed?
OR
3.leave the turbo sim in alongside the orange sim and restore in itunes

you don't need the Orange sim in to jailbreak... Its better if you use the O2 sim... that way it will activate and you can just switch to the Orange sim after and install ultrasn0w.

If your using a mac, make sure you deselect "activate the phone" in pwnage so that push notifications will work.
