syncing unlcoked iphone
|
i want to sync my iphone 2g to itunes so that i can update to 3.0 and then unlock/jailbreak. problem is... i dont want to lose all the stuff i have on my phone... mainly pictures and stuff.
ive googled it before and people say that you can sync it no problem but last time i tried it automatically put the phone into recovery mode and forced me to restore.. WTF. i just dont want that to happen again this time.
im assuming i have to update to itunes 8.2 before i can update to the 3.0 firmware and im wondering if anyone could help with the specifics to syncing and updating to 3.0 because i already have the programs to unlock and jailbreak.
