Questions about unlocking and jailbreaking on 3.0
I have an iPhone 3G version 2.2.1 with a baseband version of 2.11.07
What is the program called to unlock an iPhone version 3.0? I have a feeling it is called ultrasn0w?
And what baseband should my phone be on forthis to work? And how do I get my baseband to this version?
Should I use quickpwn or pwnagetool (I'm on a mac) to jailbreak 3.0?
I know that niether ultrasn0w (if that's the right program) and the jailbreak software have been released yet. So does anyone know when it will be released?
Many thanks.

yes UltraSn0w is the new unlocking software for 3.0
It is coming out on FRIDAY
simply upgrading to 3.0 will set it to the correct baseband for the unlock to work
quickpwn/pwnage is not yet available for 3.0 should be coming out this afternoon or tomorrow.Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

Ok thanks.
So I will have to upgrade to 3.0 normally, then quickpwn it, followed by some ultrasn0w?
Thanks very much for the useful reply.
