    Default iPhone 2G SIM help.

    I just got an iPhone to use off my dad who has been using an orange sim on it for a while meaning thats its obviously been unlocked.
    So I put my 02 sim which is contract in and put in my PIN, a box then comes up saying "SIM locked" with the options OK and UNLOCK, what will pressing each option do and what does it mean by SIM locked as Ive been able to use it in different phones.
    The iphone isnt jailbroken yet though.

    What country are you in?
    You can't unlock a phone without jailbreaking unless it's an official unlock.
    Is it 2G or 3G?
