iphone 3g Tmobile Unlock (Need Help)

I have a iphone 3g (16gb)with (version 2.2.1) (firmware 02.30.03). I have cydia with yellowsn0w in it. I have a new activated sim card with a cell number that i got from craigslist.com and still cant get any T-mobile signal when i inserted it. I tryed different apn's and still no signal. Can somebody please help me. Thx

That would be because yellowsnow will not work with baseband 2.30 and firmware 2.2.1.

No way to downgrade unless you have BL5.8 (which I am confident you do not)

So you are pretty much screwed until an unlock gets released or unless you buy an adapter.

Thx for the response. I have a at&t blackberry pearl, will my tmobile sim work with that.

As the previous post stated, you can buy a turbo type sim adapter for under $10 bucks and make your phone work with T Mo.
