Can someone clarify this for me? I have a 1G iphone that had been unlocked. The status of the phone is now just an itouch on 3.0 beta5 firmware. I don't have a working sim and it was with ATT.
I also have another iphone that is 3G and is with Softbank (Japan). It is on 2.2.1 jailbroken only. I think it is factory unlocked because when I insert my unactive ATT sim I do not get any error messages and the signal bar is flat. Is it unlocked?
My question. Why do I get this message when I insert my softbank sim into my 1G iphone?
The phone had been unlocked. My baseband is 04.05.04_G.
