are you using a different sim card than the one you got when you purchased with your phone?
have you had to unlock?
if none of these apply, maybe try restarting network settings!
okay, do a restore of 2.2.1, but first look up on your issue, about unlocking, and restoreing certain firmwares!
because a lot of people installed 2.2.1 and it upgraded there baseband therefore they were unable to unlock there iPhones.
if you come to a last resort, restore your iPhone in iTuns, but instead of a normal restore Shift+click on restore, then select the 2.2.1 .ipsw file (you will find more info aorund this site), then see if it fixes your problem!
otherwise it may be something to do with bootloaders and basebands etc, which is a different story. and unless your iPhone was purchased before September last year (i think), you wont be able to unlock it via software.
Am so lost with this phone. Think its some problem with the modem firmware and baseband og maybe the bootloaders? Not sure, but tried many methodes but nothing helps me!
yeah that would be why. Check out what version bootloader you have, that way we will now if you can downgrade your baseband so you can unlock , otherwise you will need to use what is known as a "Piggy Back Sim card" such as turbo sims etc, but i do not have that much knowledge of these.
