I have studied the Bootloader matter, and even apple is unable to overwrite it because its non-rewrittable BIOS chip, with write protections enabled, even apple is not able to pass by from write protections that chip have, its intentionally that way, so broken bootloader chip = dead iphone.

But quite much everything else in iPhone is reprogrammable or upgradeable software wise.

What BaseBand issue? There isn't one with UltraSn0w.

Well the issue is with the Wifi which stops working after a couple of mins or sometimes after a couple of seconds.. you can read more about this all around with regards to wifi and bluetooth.

Also the only way I can manage to get it to work is by shoving it in an AC vent and then turning on the Wifi .. the AC is set at 24C so im assuming that people who live in cooler areas should not have a problem ?

So im hoping to downgrade the baseband back to 2.28 which did not have any issues!!

So How does Fuzzy band to downgrade the BB if it is not rewritable?

fuzzy band only downgrades if its a 5.8 bootloader anything higher wont work

I have replaced epprom chips on boxes allowing to get tv programs need not talk on this but I think there is away to replace the chipset on this unit it was put together so it can be taken off the main board if its on the board I wish I could get a schematic of the system board and chips

That article was written before the 3GS came out which could explain why it's not mentioned.
There is at least one person in Mumbai that does the same and I believe someone in Pakistan. there was a rumour that someone in Brussels could also do it.
I have no idea if any of them do the 3GS.

I think the insides of the 3G and the 3Gs are the same, except for the obvious differences. So I'm pretty sure this could work!
