Default Boot Neuter locks phone up (ironically)

I have a 2.2.1 1st gen quickpwn'd on windblows here for a buddy. I downloaded boot neuter from cydia to unlock it and it just freezes up when BN opens. What's the fix?

Just because you have a first generation iPhone doesn't mean it was already unlocked by someone else. I still get the stray one now and then that needs to be fixed up. Some people do just jailbreak them.
