Pwnage works fine, runs its process, then tells me to quit pwnage, and restore iphone using the newly created .ipsw... but iTunes doesn't recognize the iPhone. I get an iPod error message.

I'm trying to activate my phone. That's all.

It seems you ve dfu issue.If you on mac 10.5.6,then use Automator script or buy a powered usb hub to pass it...

I figured it out. I just did it on my roommate's HP. Worked perfectly the first time.

You're right though, all issues I was having on my Mac were happening in DFU.
