Basically i just bought the turbo sim and installed it on my iphone 3g, however i can make calls and send texts but for some reason i cannot receive any calls at all, it goes to voice mail. Also texts take ages to recieve.
Has anyone else had these problems, on the three network too? if so how did you resolve this problem?
Where have you been, there's an unlock for the iphone 3g..turbosim is hit n miss and waste of money, i tried it myself. but the unlock is pretty stable....google "dev team" for their site and follow their instructions there.
i have same problem, i use rebel simcard v72 for use with firmware 2.2.1 and baseband 2.30 and when I first insert rebel sim it worked i got calls and texts but now nothing and even though i have 3G turned on it appears to have no 3G connection which I think is the problem. I am really annoyed as the whole function of a phone is to make and recieve texts and calls and half of this function is gone :@ really pisses me off
hey analytic1 if you still dont have a fix for your problem i found mine, update your iphone firmware to 3.0 and then jailbreak with redsn0w and then get ultrasn0w to unlock via cydia, takes literally minutes and my THREE UK sim is fully unlocked recieving calls and texts perfectly with 3G signal, works a beauty
