help please

i have an unlocked iphone fw 2.2 and its always worked fine. i plug it into i tunes last nite and it goes to the emergency call screen but i can receive calls and txts but i cant do anything else. may someone please help me this is my only phone and i know no to help around where i live. i tried re installing itunes and it didn't work. when i went to another computer it said you have to enter your pass code but it wont let me please help

Check the obvious first.
-eject, clean, and reinsert your SIM
-I think my next step would be to run quickpwn.

Once jailbroken properly, you should be able in to settings and such to see what's going on.

*I'm no expert, ... just shooting in the dark at this one.

Put it into DFU mode(Turn off your phone,hold Power and Home,as the grey apple logo comes up,release the power button,but keep holding the home button and wait for iTunes to detect your phone in recovery mode).
Restore to itunes.Then jailbrake it.
