3g yellowsn0w unlock sync with Itunes?

If you upgrade a 3g Iphone to OS 2.2,jailbreak and unlock using yellowsn0w and use a third party sim such as T-mobile will it interact and sync with Itunes,contacts, music, applications etc. like a regular AT&T sim phone or will you still get the invalid sim screen when you want to sync the phone and have to pull the sim out or put the phone in airplane mode etc.to sync. I would prefer responses from those who actually know it will work from experience. Thanks.

It will works and interact with iTunes just like you are a valid AT&T subscriber.
