I've got an 2g iphone which I bought back in the begining of 2008.

I live in Europe so I got someone to unlock it for me succesfully so that I could use it with a diffrent sim card. It was working well until I tried to upgraded to a new software.(a friend of mine did it).

Anyhow... it didn't work. I tried to fix it in so many different way but none of them worked. Instead, it got worse and worse.

Now my iphone is detected on my computer in "Recocery Mode" and itunes doesn't detected at all. It has the arrow pointing towards the itunes logo. Rebooting doesn't work. What do I do??!!

I am using Windows Vista but I can also use a Mac.

Please help me.

Go to DFU mode&try again.

make sure you have .Net Framwork installed on Windows Xp or Vista, without .Net the process will go bad during the winpwn.
