Need AT&T sim for yellow snow?

I'm currently on tmobile usa. If I want to unlock a 3g iphone and use yellow snow, will I need to run yellowsnow with a valid AT&T sim card inserted into the 3g iphone? I have an att sim that came with the 2g iphone, that isn't activated. But I have no att sim for the 3g iphone.

I was under the impression that no ATT sim was needed to operate yell0wsnow... has this changed? Don;t you just need the sim you are wishing to use with the unlocked phone?

As long as an AT&T sim was in there some point of your iphones life, then it should be fine.

And the CORRECT answer is: you don't need an AT&T SIM in at all.

Please don't spread FUD.
