ok i dont know what i did but i bought a 3g iphone online and entered a social, i get all the way up to checkout confirmation, once i hit buy thats it. now i wanna know when i get it delivered. do i add plans and actually sign a contract with them on itunes, or is there a way to activate it without itunes like with the 2g

it depends , if the iphone is unlocked by apple then just put your sim and you ready to go , if its locked then just use the yellowsn0w to unlock it and then use any sim ,thanks

i think from AT&T, you still need to activate it. Just because you entered your social. I could be wrong though. If i am, then just jailbreak it, and unlock with yellowsnow.
