3g quickpwn works but not on 2G?

I have unlocked my 3G iphone with quick pwn but when i try my 2G it wont work. I then downloaded it onto another computer and it works on both. Confused!! I have a new Gateway Blue with vista.

I have tried turning off the firewalls and also reloaded the quick pwn several times with no luck. It recognizes all 3G phones but not 2G.

Help!!!

You can not unlock your 3G iphone with quickpwn,it will just jailbrake your phone.You have to use yellowsn0w on cydia to unlock your 3G with 02.28 baseband...

dejawoo is correct. but have you tried yellowsnow? that will unlock your 3g iphone
