unlocked on UK vodafone, 3g question??

Hi All,

After trying to get this done on my macbook I have just tried the PC using quickpwn22. Went like a dream, installed yellowsnow, removed sim, turned off and on. Then turned off network and airplane mode. Turned back on and up pops vodafone.

I have a question on how I now get 3g to work??? Its turned on with vodafone so not sure if anyone has any tips for me??

You don't need anything to enable 3G with Vodafone UK. It's available to everybody no matter if you're on Pay As You Talk or Pay Monthly. As long as 3G is avaiable in your area.

Make sure you have the correct APN settings.

Pay Monthly
APN: internet
Username: wap
Password: wap

Pay As You Talk
APN: pp.vodafone.co.uk
Username: wap
Password: wap

Got a new sim now as Vodafone thought that might be the problem. Will give the new sim a try and see how I get on.
