UNLOCKED your IPhone via yellowSnow and didnt work ?!!! HERE IT IS THE SOLUTION

I got mine working for about 2 mins via Cydia, and a youtuibe walkthrough, that was pretty poor, however when I rebooted the phone to see if it would still work, it was gone, I ordered a sim deal off of eBay that is supposed to work with 2.2, do you think it will work with 2.28.00 bb??? Also is it possible to downgrade if not?

Itīs hard to say for certain if it will work or not. When 2.28.00 came out none of the SIM solutions would work. I read that that was one of the things Apple tried to stop with the new bb. Maybee new SIM solutions will work I donīt know.

Yo can however NOT downgrade the baseband.

yellowsn0w is a big failboat.

I work for a t-mobile retail store and spend a good 4-5 hours today at work trying to get 20+ t-mobile sims to work doing everything and I never got service once.

Mine worked for a split second. I turned off the phone and when it turned back on, the "No Service" came back. I waited 45 minutes...still "no service"

Try resetting your network settings. If that doesn't give you a signal, put it in airplane mode for 10 seconds then turn off. That worked for me.

Supposedly the best (if not the only) proxy sim on the market that will work with the 2.28 bb is the rebelsim. I just ordered one and am hoping it works better than the others i have tried in the past.

did the new yellowsn0w 9.4, as none of the methods worked before, but once the new Yellowsn)w installed and then did the mobile terminal -c, -q then all worked.
was on UK O2 but unlocked on Vodafone Spain.

yea for sure simply because 2.2 update the baseband

i am happy because with many it worked like a charm

try to restore ...> then update ...> re jailbreak
Note: be aware to have the latest version of cydia and installer try both please in case one didnt worked
+ u have to wait on the fone to get the signal about 90 seconds dnt get boared please just be patient

it works after doing the following. reinstall yellowsn0w, and then turn off 3g and turn on airplan mode, turn off the phone and turn it on again, go to setting and turn off airplan mode. HAHA smile on face. BTW im in canada with locked fido phone and now I am be able to use rogers without my gevey 3g.

try airplane on, wait 10 seconds, and off...

if deson't work, try uninstalling yellowsnow, reset network settings, install yellowsnow 0.9.5, reset network settings, airplane on 10sec then off... repeat till it works... it should work...

it should work, try rebooting normally... if still doesn't work, try rebooting using bossprefs or sbsettings... each try if still no luck try switching on airplane,wait 10 sec, then switch off... if still no luck,

uninstall yellowsnow, reset network settings, install yellowsnow 0.9.5, reset network settings, airplane on 10sec then off... keep repeating this it will work...

Hey guys it wasn't working for me than I did what dev team said. I reinstalled in cydia than restarted waited 15 secs nothing pulled it out popped it back in an bam 10 secs later petro canada mobile.

Starting to get aggravated, Had it working all day minus my edge, with us tmobile, reboot through boss prefs, and I get 4 dots, invalid sim, and no service errors...It is still a experimental software...but damn it's glitchy

seems there is a problem with newer tmobile sims or something. They are working on it though

Looks like yellowsnow was a big failure, and now alot of people are stuck with version 2.2. I think a little more testing should have been done on the Dev Teams part. Now alot of people have phones that are nothing more than an iTouch.

I was able to follow the instruction and was able to install yellowsn0w without to much difficullity, the downfall is when I went to pop another sim card from a diffrent provider it did not work any ideas as to why?
Initally I thought I would have to reboot the phone in order for it to work however it did not......

Any ideas?????

i upgraded to 2.2 then i jailbroke it the first time when i was in the flash part of the jailbreak an error message on my laptop came up and said quickpwn may have not installed properly but there was nothing i could do by that pouint so i went into cydia updated everything then downloaded boss prefs turned ewverything off but wifi opend cydia took out att sim put tmobile sim add yellosnow source and installed then went to general then and reset network settings then waited and nothing happened for 30mins so i rebooted and still nothing then i restored my phone again so i could rejailbreak and that when it began to go in dfu mode i restored it 6 times because it wouldnt work i tried jailbreaking it 3 times with my att sime and 3 with tmobile i even reinstallled quickpwn and still the same thing
