Hello,
Has anyone actually tried commercial software (such as AutoiPhoneUnlocker) to unlock a 2G phone running 2.0?
I'm quite suspicious: Their testimonials/reviews are the same, word for word.

I guess they are all operated by the same company. Which is odd enough to scare me.

Dont pay any money to them.Just use unlocking&jailbraking tools.Ur iphone will be fine.Dont worry about it.

Well, i'm only interested in unlocking my 2G. I'm not sure I want to use the Pwnage thing. Too messy.

Messy?! haha... if you can't figure out how to follow a step by step guide and a couple of mouse clicks then maybe you should throw your money away. Geez. Quickpwn is the easiest unlock EVER.
