I am going to assume that you have a 2g iphone looking at your previous version. All you need to do, to get things rolling again, is use the latest WINPWN with the latest version that it supports. I am looking and I think it is 2.0.2? Anyways, there will be an option in there, to activate the iphone. I am not sure why quickpwn does not come with this option, and if it does, I sure don't know about it. But I can link you a tutorial on how to do this.

    iClarified - iPhone - How to Unlock/Jailbreak Your 2.0.x 2G iPhone (Windows) [WinPwn 2.5]

This is the only way I know of that can fix your problem. Yes your going to have to use older software, but I don't think that you non-att users can use 2.2 right now? Someone is more then welcome to correct me if I am wrong though. =)

    Hope this fixes your problem.

FYI - You might be able to "upgrade" to the latest version via itunes after this (NOT RESTORE) I am not sure if it will ask you to activate it again, once it has been activated once. I do not know if this will work, but it is worth a try.

2.2 will work fine with other carriers.

I have a 2G on 2.2 with T-Mobile, unlocked using this iClarified tutorial.

I went straight from 1.2 to 2.2 doing this.

Start by restoring to latest 2.2 firmware in iTunes - don't skip that even though you think you've done it already.

    Wellll

    I downloaded quickpwn

and i did it but i forgot to check unlcok iphone and it jailbroke it, and i think activated it.

so i used ziphone to activate it again and it put it in recovery mode, yet again.

So i clicked unlock it, and it is asking for bootloaders. I have no clue what they are and where can i get them? SO i can browse for them.

And after its unlocked and all thatstuff, how can i get it synced back with my itunes library

You can't use Ziphone on 2.X firmware. Gotta use Quickpwn/Pwnage. Try this guide for Windows/Quickpwn.
